1) Where does Lois provide her services?
Lois travels all over the United States as a newborn expert/baby nurse. She has worked with families from California to New York.

4) Why should I retain the services of a Baby Nurse/Newborn Expert?
While having a newborn expert/baby nurse is a luxury, Lois will provide you with invaluable support and guidance during the first few weeks or months after your delivery. In addition, she can train 
your baby to sleep through the night between two-and-one-half to three months of age. This will enable you to get the rest and have more energy to care for your infant upon her departure. What Lois will do for you and your baby is unmatched by any family member or close friend. She has made a career out of caring for newborn babies and is trained/seasoned to handle any difficulties or challenges you may have in the first few months.  

1) What are the typical hours of our Newborn Expert?
Typically Lois works 24-hours a day, 6 days a week.

3) How long does the Lois stay with a family.
Anywhere between 10 days - 3 months. The duration is your decision, but she suggests a minimum of ten days in order for you and your baby to receive the optimum benefits. 
 Some of the factors that might determine the length of stay are: trouble with breast-feeding, surgical or vaginal birth, multiples, other siblings in the home, other postpartum support from family or friends (i.e..your mom or mother-in-law can stay for only 5 days), special needs for the newborn, or postpartum depression for the new mom. 2) How much does it cost to hire Lois?
The fee ranges from $300-$400 per day for 24-hour care. In addition, clients pay for all travel expenses, including airfare, meals and if needed, a hotel room. Clients must provide a private room and bath with a TV and Internet access.

5) When should I reserve my dates for Lois?
In general, Lois is usually booked three to six months in advance of the due date. However, because she is so in-demand, her schedule fills up quickly so many clients reserve her up to nine months.

7) Does Lois provide just sleep consultation?
Yes. She can help you get your baby to sleep longer at night and take better naps during the day. She will evaluate your child and make recommendations. When traveling out of state she requires a minimum of 24-hours for a period of at least 5-30 days.

8) Do she provide a baby nurse consultation?
Yes. She will come to your home and evaluate your baby and address specific problems you are having with your baby. Make recommendations and then follow up with you and your baby. When traveling out of state, she requires a minimum of 24-hours a day, for 5 days.

9) Do she provide instructor training?
She does offer training for postpartum doulas, baby nurses/newborn specialist and nannies nationwide through Love 'N Care, LLC. The training consists of classroom hours and 80-120 hours of internship. (click here for more info)
